Air Jordan 1 Review
JORDAN BRAND GETS CRAFTY WITH HOLIDAY AIR JORDAN 1
As Jordan Brand continues to roll out its festive offerings, official images of one of the most hyped holiday releases have just surfaced. The Air Jordan 1 High “Hand Crafted” comes with a multi-colored upper, pairing “Archaeo Brown” and “Dark Chocolate” hues with dark gray 3M panels and hits of black. Neon pink offers contrast against the muted colorway, arriving on the shoe’s tongue label and two-toned laces. The AJ1 also implements white topstitching throughout as a play on the handcrafted inspiration.
The release joins other highly anticipated JB holiday drops, including the return of the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” and the glossy Air Jordan 1 Bred Patent. Look out for the “Handcrafted” AJ1 to hit the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers on December 18 for $170 USD.
Official Images Of The Air Jordan 1 Mid XQ (2022)
Throughout the 2020s, Nike has brought back both obscure and beloved favorites alike. This year is no exception, as the brand is soon to reintroduce the Air Jordan 1 Mid XQ, whose original 240 pair run dropped back in 2007.
All that time ago, the extremely rare release was created to celebrate the opening of Nike retail stores across China, headlining a larger XQ collection replete with tees, hats, and more. Six years later in 2013, this AJ1 Mid would return for the second time, then tweaked with “Nike Air” across its tongue label.
Soon, just shy of a decade, the Air Jordan 1 Mid XQ will hit the shelves for the third time, flaunting a design more akin to its OG counterpart. The “Jumpman Air” sits proudly atop the tongue, gilded much like the laces, lining, contrast stitching, and accompanying insignia. Red, an auspicious color in Chinese culture, is applied to many of the overlays, the forward-most of which is lightly debossed with stars. Additional motifs mark the white mid-panel and blacked out toe/counter, doing so through stitching and light stencil, respectively.
For a closer look at the 2022 version of the Air Jordan 1 Mid XQ, take a look at the official images below. Though currently TBD, a release date should surface very soon.

The Air Jordan 1 Low Replaces Its Overlays With Acid Wash Denim
Whenever Spring and Summer are just around the corner, the entire Nike umbrella brings out the tie-dye prints and bright pastels. This upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low, however, deviates quite a bit, as it features acid wash denim across its every overlay.
Typically associated with rock and roll, the finish feels not at all unfamiliar, considering the brand has paid homage to the music genre relatively recently. Here, it dresses the toe, collar, counter, and many of the panels in between, contrasting the white, smooth leather foundation underneath. The Swoosh, tread, laces, and the like, though, serve as complements to the various cool tones, each just a few shades away from the beloved “University Blue.”
